Airto's band, Fourth World, performs four great compositions and Airto breaks down his drumming in each. In the process he covers Brazilian rhythms such as marcha, frevo, partido alto, samba, samba in 7 and baiao. He also discusses his playing experiences with Miles Davis and Return to Forever and plays some of the things he developed while in those bands. Including some beautiful samba brush patters.
