This is an instructional video based on a live performace with Airto's
Band Fourth World.
There is also a question and answer segment from the audience
Airto discusses his overall approach to playing drums and percussion.
He demonstrates on drumset, his dynamic interpretation of many of the
essential Afro-Brazilian rhythms including Samba, Baiao, March and Frevo.
He also demonstrates his approach to a variety of percussion instruments.
Along with Flora Purim and his Forth World band, he performs four beautiful
compositions -- on drums and percussion -- which illustrate each rhythm
and beautifully showcase this amazing artist.
